Clinical Care
Clinical care, inside your gym.
Physical therapy at Persist is real clinical care: a full hour with a Doctor of Physical Therapy, a real evaluation, and a written plan of care you keep.
How care works
Four steps back to the floor.
The evaluation — $175
A full hour, 1-on-1 with Dr. Alyssa Burkitt, PT, DPT. History, movement, hands-on testing, and straight answers about what's actually going on.
The plan of care
Written, specific, and yours to keep — what we're treating, how long it should take, and what "better" will look like at each step.
The work
Treatment visits plus prescribed training. Because the clinic shares a roof with the gym, your rehab uses real equipment — not a rubber band in a hallway.
The handoff
You don't get discharged into a void. Your coach gets the plan, the doctor stays down the hall, and training picks up where treatment ends.
What we treat
The stuff that keeps you off the floor.
Orthopedic
Backs, shoulders, knees, hips — the everyday injuries and the decade-old ones you've been managing around.
Return to sport
Post-op or post-injury, adult or youth athlete — a graded path back to the field, the mat, or the barbell.
Pre & post-partum
Training through pregnancy and rebuilding after — programming and care from a doctor who trains, on a floor built for it.
Pelvic floor
Specialist evaluation and treatment for the thing nobody talks about and half the gym is quietly dealing with.
Two different doors
Screen vs. evaluation.
Everyone at Persist starts with one of these. They're not the same thing — and we'll never blur the line.
Free movement screen
45 minutes with a coach. How you move, what you're chasing, which program fits. The front door to training.
DPT clinical evaluation
A full hour with the Doctor of Physical Therapy. Diagnosis, written plan of care, HSA/FSA-eligible. The front door to treatment — never free, never discounted.
Clinical visits are booked through Jane, our scheduling system — text us and we'll send your booking link. No physician referral needed in California.
HSA / FSA
Your health dollars work here.
Physical therapy services are typically HSA/FSA-eligible. Where clinically appropriate, our DPT can prescribe your training as part of your care — which serves as a Letter of Medical Necessity. We provide the documentation and walk you through it.
Beyond the clinic
We also keep a network of preferred providers for coordinating hormones, labs, and stem cell consultations — ask at your evaluation and we'll point you to the right people.
Something hurts?
Start with the doctor.
One hour, real answers, a written plan. $175, HSA/FSA-eligible — and the training floor is right there when you're ready for it.
Clinical care is never free and never discounted.
